Virginia Tech String Project Awarded $20,000 from CMA Foundation

Virginia Tech String Project is awarded a $20,000 grant from the County Music Association Foundation and was featured in the Roanoke Times.  With the CMA Foundation grant, the program will be able to expand its reach into other parts of the region that lack orchestra programs in the public school curriculum. This award will also assist in providing need-based scholarships, extending the opportunity to participate to students who otherwise may not have the financial means to take part in the program. Read the article here.
